Meet Hans Helland
Senior Project Manager
Hans joined Arcticnor in 2026 as Senior Project Manager, bringing with him more than
20 years of experience from the engineering industry.

After graduating as a Mechanical Engineer in 2005, Hans began his career in non-
destructive testing (NDT). Since then, he has worked in a wide range of technical and
project-related roles, including Project Coordinator, Package Responsible Engineer
(PRE) and Discipline Lead for Mechanical Engineering.

Throughout his career, Hans has been involved in projects across both onshore and
offshore industries, with particular experience in product deliveries, industrial projects,
and water and wastewater solutions.

Looking for new challenges
Having worked alongside several Arcticnor employees earlier in his career, joining the
company felt like a natural next step.

For Hans, the opportunity to become more involved in complete project deliveries and
follow projects from start to finish was one of the main reasons for choosing Arcticnor.

Motivated by responsibility
As Senior Project Manager, Hans enjoys leading multidisciplinary projects from concept
to completion. He appreciates the responsibility that comes with the role and thrives
when solving challenges together with colleagues and customers.

Looking ahead, he is excited to contribute as both Team Lead and Project Manager
while sharing his experience and helping strengthen Arcticnor’s engineering
environment.

Hans describes himself as someone who is approachable and always willing to share
his knowledge and experience with others.

Outside of work, he enjoys cycling as a way to stay active, kayaking to relax, and
spending quality time with his family.
